Package: linux-image-2.6.24-1-686
Version: 2.6.24-4
Severity: normal
The lack of a bnx2 driver in the kernel means that certain platforms (in this
case a Dell PowerEdge 1950) are not able to utilise their network cards. I'm
aware of the reason for its removal from recent versions of the distribution,
but stable still contains it and surely it would be more sensible to create
a workaround or fix and then remove the existing driver?
